- I passed back papers while we watched a commentary on the movie adaptation of The Hunger Games. We discussed the commentary a bit, and our impressions of Parable of the Sower vs. The Hunger Games.
- We started discussing Sweet Whispers, Brother Rush including definition of magical realism (see slideshow in Blackboard) and the lack of specific setting in the novel.
