• We took a quiz on Harriet the Spy.
• I passed back the Iron Jawed Angels activity and we talked for a bit about the movie. I also passed out an article (available here) which connects some of the issues we have discussed with today's events. We'll keep talking about the second and third waves of feminism after reading Harriet the Spy.
• We talked about thesis sentences in preparation for the paper proposal due next week. The handout is available in Blackboard (look in the MLA & Paper Tips folder).
• We talked briefly about Harriet the Spy.
